I promoted Himstar EPC through a YouTube video campaign built around engaging recipe content. The aim was brand visibility: getting the business seen and remembered by more people, rather than chasing an immediate sale. Each video reached over 5,000 views, which surpassed the client’s goals and strengthened awareness of the brand.
The challenge
Himstar EPC wanted its brand to be more visible. Awareness is a different job from lead generation. Nobody is searching for you yet, so the advert has to earn attention from people who were not looking for it. That makes the content itself the main lever, and it is why the campaign was built on recipe videos rather than straightforward product adverts.
What I did
I ran the recipe videos as paid adverts on YouTube. YouTube advertising is bought and managed through Google Ads, usually as a video campaign, where you choose the videos to promote, the people you want to reach and how much you are prepared to spend.
Recipe content suits awareness work well, in principle, for a simple reason. It gives the viewer something useful in return for their time, so the advert feels less like an interruption. A good recipe video keeps people watching, and every second they watch is a second the brand is in front of them.
Views were the measure the campaign was judged on. In Google Ads, a view on a skippable in-stream ad generally counts only when someone watches a meaningful part of the advert or interacts with it, so a view represents real attention rather than a passing glance.
Results
Each video in the campaign reached over 5,000 views. That surpassed the goals the client had set, and the campaign strengthened awareness of the Himstar EPC brand.
What this shows
If you run a UK business and want more people to know your name, the lesson is to lead with content people actually want to watch. Useful video, such as a recipe, a demonstration or a quick how-to, holds attention far better than an advert that only talks about you.
The second lesson is to agree the goal before anything goes live. This campaign was judged against targets the client had set, which is what made the result clear. For awareness campaigns, decide up front which numbers matter: views, view rate and cost per view are a sensible starting point.
