Clients

Clients and sectors I have worked with

The businesses whose marketing and websites I have worked on, for UK business owners checking whether I have handled anything like theirs. Each case study card gives the sector and the work, and links to the full write-up.

These are businesses I have worked with on SEO, paid advertising, social media and websites. Where a project is written up as a case study, its card gives the sector, says what I worked on and links to the full write-up.

If you are deciding whether to hire me, the sector is a quick first answer to whether I have worked on problems like yours. The detail sits in the case studies, each of which sets out the challenge, the work and the results as they were published.

Businesses with a published case study

All of the written-up projects, including those where the client is not named, are on the case studies page.

Website projects

I worked on the websites of these three businesses. Each one is shown, with screenshots, in my web design portfolio.

  • Supply Box Website redesign A redesign of a site that had too many unnecessary elements and no clear structure.
  • Neo Assure Brand tone and layout Bringing the brand’s tone and the page layout into line.
  • Sakchha Structure and content A clearer structure and better-organised content.

More businesses I have worked with

Alongside the projects above, I have also worked with these businesses.

  • NepaTronix
  • Aadhyanta Fund Management
  • Image Ark
  • EON Technology
  • Dreams International Holidays
  • Dots and Dashes
  • DishHome
  • Nepal Ko Kanun

Razu Shrestha, the founder of NepaTronix, is one of the clients whose feedback is on my client reviews page.

Work delivered at Encore Media

The Global IME Bank project was delivered while I was working at Encore Media, an agency, and its case study says so. In agency work the client relationship belongs to the agency, so that project is labelled as agency work rather than presented as though the bank hired me directly. The disclaimer explains how agency work is credited across this site.

Questions worth asking about any client list

A client list shows where someone has worked. The useful detail comes from asking about the work, and I am happy to answer for any project on this page.

The questions worth asking are the ones you would put to any consultant: what exactly did you do, what changed, how was it measured and who else was involved. How to choose a digital marketing agency or consultant lists them, along with the answers that should make you wary. I would rather you asked me those than relied on a list of names.

If your sector is not listed

Most of what makes search and paid advertising work carries across sectors: a site Google can crawl and index, pages that match what people actually search for, tracking that records real enquiries, and ads shown to people likely to buy. What changes between sectors is the regulation, the competition, how long customers take to decide and how they prefer to get in touch.

So a missing sector does not rule me out, but it does mean the first part of the work would be learning how your customers search and what your competitors already do well. The SEO guides for individual UK sectors show how I think about the differences. The most direct way to judge whether I understand your business is to request a free SEO audit of your site and see what I would fix first.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a business I know you worked with not on this list?

Not every client wants to be named. Some would rather their competitors did not know who handles their marketing, so they are left off this page. If you want to know whether I have worked in a particular sector or on a particular kind of problem, ask me and I will tell you what I can without naming anyone.

Were these clients yours, or an agency's?

The Global IME Bank project was delivered while I was working at Encore Media, and it is labelled that way here and in its case study. The disclaimer sets out how agency work is credited across the site.

Does a sector on this list mean you specialise in it?

No. A sector appears because I have worked on the marketing of at least one business in it. Whether that experience is relevant to you depends on how close the business was to yours in size, market and what it sold. For how I would approach your sector in the UK, see the marketing guides for individual UK sectors.
